The venue was illuminated with innovative lighting solutions displays. The 29th edition, which was organized by Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India, featured a distinctive combination of LED lighting components, products, and solutions from over 233 exhibitors. These included smart lights, LEDs for design and décor, LEDs for atmospheric lighting and wellness, and innovative approaches to problem-solving like biomimicry in lighting applications.

During the inauguration ceremony, Mr Dominic Romell, President, Maharashtra Chamber of Housing Industry & Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Association of India (MCHI-CREDAI), expressed: “I am very happy to be here at the LED Expo Mumbai. I request all the developers to come and see what the products are. These products can help add premium rating to real their estate projects and add value to your flat sales. There are wonderful products here, nearly 6,000 products and I have seen about 1,000 products and these are worth watching. Every exhibitor has a different aspect of it right from nature to biomimicry. So, you have everything under one roof.”
Day one of the event presents a power packed panel discussion – ‘CXO Power Panel – Balancing Design, Innovation and Manufacturing Excellence in the Lighting Industry’ hosted by Women in Lighting, India. The discussion explored the evolving dynamics between cutting-edge lighting design and the practicalities of large-scale manufacturing. CXOs from leading lighting design firms and manufacturing from India will debate how to strike the right balance between aesthetics, functionality, cost, and sustainability.
Day two will engage visitors in three technical workshops on the topic:
– ‘Acoustic Lights’ by Silence Acoustics
– Biomimicry Designs & their Impact on the environment by Studio Black Canvas
– Understanding Lighting Control – Systems, Protocols & Automation by Brightworks Lighting Solution
– Panel Discussion – Landscape Lighting for Safety, Security, & Sustainability
The event has garnered support from prestigious industry bodies and associations including Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST), Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) – a unit of the Ministry of Power, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), The Electric Merchants Association (EMA) and Women in Lighting India (WIL).
