Humanscale Wins iF Design Award 2025 for Float Mini and Trea Collection
Leading ergonomic furniture manufacturer Humanscale has been recognized with the prestigious iF Design Award 2025 for its innovative Float Mini table and Trea chair collection, as announced in an official press release. Selected from thousands of global entries, both products stood out for their exceptional design and functionality, earning acclaim from an international panel of 131 independent design experts.
The Float Mini is a compact, height-adjustable sit-stand desk that facilitates effortless transitions between sitting and standing. Powered by a pneumatic cylinder, it allows for smooth, manual adjustment without the need for electrical power, making it an ergonomic and flexible choice for any workspace. Its minimal design supports natural movement and promotes healthier work habits.
The Trea Collection, created in collaboration with renowned designer Todd Bracher, offers a modern seating solution that blends style with comfort. With its solid-state recline mechanism and ergonomically contoured shell, Trea adapts intuitively to the user’s posture, making it suitable for a wide range of environments—from workspaces to lounges.
The iF Design Award, one of the world’s most respected and long-standing design competitions, honours excellence in product design, innovation, and quality. As part of the recognition, both the Float Mini and Trea Collection will be showcased at the iF Design Award 2025 Exhibition in Berlin, and featured across iF’s digital platforms and global promotional campaigns.
Sathish Nandagopal, Founder and Director of S Cube Ergonomics Pvt Ltd, Humanscale’s authorized distributor in India, expressed pride in the achievement:
“These accolades reinforce Humanscale’s leadership in crafting ergonomic and sustainable solutions for modern work environments. The Float Mini and Trea Collection are prominently featured at our exclusive showrooms and Ergonomics Experience Centres in Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Pune, along with 10+ multi-brand outlets across India.”
Alastair Stubbs, Country Director India at Humanscale, added:
“This is a significant recognition for our team. We’re honored to see both of these innovative products included in the 2025 iF Design Award exhibition in Berlin later this month.”
With this latest recognition, Humanscale continues to demonstrate its global influence in designing human-centric furniture that prioritizes well-being, functionality, and aesthetics in today’s evolving workspaces.
